Elisa-an Italian AU Pair recently in Hangzhou
When I landed in Hangzhou, it was like discovering a new world. The diversity with Italy, my country of origin, is so huge that it really seemed to be no longer on the same planet. I immediately had the opportunity to immerse myself in the Chinese culture by trying the local seafood (they are so delicious!).
Later, I saw one of the places Iʼve kept in my heart of this fabulous city, the West Lake. It's really beautiful, it left me speechless, especially with the sun that was setting while I was on a boat trip.
Then, I went on a tour of the Lingyin Temple. It is a place that has made me immediately understand a little more the cultural richness of this country. I have seen many people coming from every place to celebrate the autumn festival, and that gave me even more desire to visit more and more places.
After over two months in China I am absolutely convinced and proud of the choice I made. Time passes so fast when you have fun, and you never stop learning!
